VIDEOGRAPHY TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Definitions
“Videographer” refers to [Jacobxmedia].
“Client” refers to the individual or company booking services.
“Project” refers to the agreed videography services.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed once a deposit of [25–50%] is received.

  • The remaining balance is due within 7 days of final delivery (or before delivery if preferred).

  • The Videographer reserves the right to withhold final content until full payment is received.

  • Late payments may incur a [5–10%] fee after 14 days.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If the Client cancels within 48 hours, up to 100% of the project fee may be charged.

  • Rescheduling is allowed with reasonable notice and subject to availability.

  • In the event the Videographer cannot attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

4. Scope of Work

  • Services will be delivered as agreed (e.g. filming hours, number of videos, revisions).

  • Any additional work outside the agreed scope will be charged or quoted separately.

5. Delivery

  • Delivery timelines are estimates (typically [3-14 days] depending on project).

  • Final files will be delivered digitally unless otherwise agreed.

  • The Client is responsible for downloading and storing final files.

6. Revisions

  • Includes [1–2 rounds] of revisions.

  • Additional revisions will be charged at £20 per hour.

  • Revisions do not include major changes to the original brief.

7. Usage & Licensing

  • The Videographer retains full copyright ownership unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • The Client may not resell or transfer the content without permission.

8. Portfolio Use

  • The Videographer reserves the right to use all content for portfolio, social media, and promotional purposesunless agreed otherwise in writing.

9. Client Responsibilities

  • The Client must ensure:

  • Access to locations

  • Permission to film

  • Any required releases from people featured

  • The Videographer is not liable for issues arising from lack of permissions.

10. Liability

  • The Videographer will take reasonable care but is not liable for:

  • Unforeseen technical issues

  • Weather conditions

  • Third-party interference

  • Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the project.

11. Equipment & Data

  • In the rare event of data loss or equipment failure, liability is limited to a reshoot where possible or a refund.

12. Travel & Expenses

  • Travel charged at 45p per mile

  • Additional travel, parking, or accommodation costs will be charged where applicable.
